How It Works
Low risk by design. You're in control at every step.
We built our process around one idea: you should be able to see your savings before you commit to anything, and you should never have to hand over the keys to your environment to get them.
The process
Four steps from "probably overpaying" to "saving every month"
Connect, read-only
You grant AWSAVVY secure, read-only access to your billing and usage data — typically through a cross-account IAM role scoped to Cost Explorer, CUR (Cost and Usage Report), and resource metadata. We can see what you're spending and how resources are configured. We cannot start, stop, modify, or delete anything. Your environment stays entirely in your hands.
We audit (within 48 hours)
Our team analyzes your account against every common (and a lot of uncommon) source of waste: idle resources, oversized compute, storage sitting in the wrong tier, on-demand spend that should be committed, and avoidable data-transfer charges. You get back a clear, prioritized report — biggest and easiest savings first, each with a dollar figure attached.
You review and approve
We walk you through the findings in plain English. You decide what to act on and what to leave alone. Nothing in your account changes without your explicit sign-off. If you'd rather your own engineers implement the changes, the report gives them everything they need. If you'd like us to guide the work, we can do that too.
You save, and we share in it
As the changes land, your monthly bill drops — and stays down. Most engagements are performance-based, meaning you pay from a share of the savings we actually deliver. No savings, no fee. If you want us to keep watch so the waste never creeps back, Continuous Optimization picks up from here.
Our guarantees
What we'll never do
Never make changes without your approval.
We recommend; you decide. Every action is yours to greenlight.
Never trade performance for savings.
We remove waste, not capacity. Your apps stay fast and reliable.
Never lock you into a long contract to get started.
The first audit is free and obligation-free. You continue only if it's worth it.
Security & access
Common questions about access
Do you need admin access to our AWS account?
Can you see our application data?
Who implements the changes?
How long until we see savings?
Ready to see what you're overpaying?
The audit is free and read-only. Worst case, you learn your AWS setup is already lean. Best case, we find savings you keep every month.
